New Thrustmaster T3PA-PRO add-on pedals

Thrustmaster added a new product to its eco-system line up. They introduce the T3PA-PRO pedal set. This set is basically the same unit as the full metal 3 pedal set that is included with the Thrustmaster T500 wheel. The Pedals can be either floor mounted or used as an inverted set. The T3PA-PRO set is compatible with the T500 RS, TX and T300 RS wheel. For T300 and RX owners, the pedals can be considered a substantial upgrade in comparison with the stock units. While most modern rigs are pre-drilled to fit the  T3PA-PRO, Thrustmaster provided a template for those who want to mount the pedals on a custom racing rig or footplate.

New York City, March 18, 2015 — Thrustmaster is continuing to add to its racing product ecosystem with the launch of the stand-alone version of its high-end 100% metal, 3-pedal pedal set: the T3PA-PRO.
Fully adjustable
Races are won by precision speed and precision braking! Thrustmaster is releasing the best solution for the racer who wants to be the best. The T3PA- PRO is a pedal set which allows for both the bold and subtle braking maneuvers. With the T3PA-PRO, Thrustmaster is offering racing fans a first-class device designed to satisfy even the most demanding users. The T3PA-PRO features 100% metal construction, covering all of its components: the 3 pedals, its structure (both external and internal), and its footrest with non-slip grating. The pedal set weighs in at a little over 2 pounds, ensuring optimal stability.
In order to adapt to users’ different needs and preferences, the T3PA-PRO is fully adjustable – including each of its 3 pedals: in terms of spacing (3 possible positions per pedal), angle of inclination (2 possible positions per pedal) and height (4 possible positions for the gas pedal / 3 possible positions for the brake and clutch pedals). This adjustability and versatility also includes the pedal set’s base, which features a unique design*, allowing users to select between 2 different positions: floor-mounted position (F1-style), or suspended position (GT-style)

2 mods included for even more effective braking
The T3PA-PRO features 2 impressive compression springs: the resulting pressure force is adjustable according to the range of travel allocated to the springs. But Thrustmaster’s latest pedal set doesn’t stop there: it also includes two removable mods, which can be installed directly underneath the brake pedal. Users can therefore adjust the range of travel, pressure force and type of braking feel to best suit their own preferences. This provides a big advantage in racing, since victory so often depends on the brake pedal’s performance.
With the first mod (the SPRING BRAKE MOD), composed of an additional compression spring, the pressure force can be adjusted between 30 and 35 pounds. With the second mod (the CONICAL RUBBER BRAKE MOD), composed of a conical stop made from industrial-grade high-density rubber, the pressure force can be adjusted between 45 and 70 pounds: using this mod, users will also enjoy an authentic feel thanks to an ultra-progressive resistance at the end of the pedal’s range of travel.

The power of compatibility
Every aspect of the T3PA-PRO has been designed with the goal of providing the greatest number of possibilities for customization and adjustments in terms of its configuration: it is compatible with most pedal kits sold in motorsport accessories shops, and is easy to mount in different types of cockpits thanks to its numerous built-in screw threads. The T3PA-PRO is compatible with all Thrustmaster T-Series racing wheels: the T300 RS, T300 Ferrari GTE, T500 RS, Ferrari F1 Wheel Integral T500, TX Racing Wheel Ferrari 458 Italia Edition and Ferrari 458 Spider Racing Wheel.
