Next Level Racing – The New Motion Plus platform

Next Level Racing continues to develop its professional-grade Motion Platform to make the already solid NLR motion sim Ecosystem even better while keeping in mind that the unit has to be suitable for both home use and advanced professional applications.

The existing NLR Motion V3 compact seat mover, and the NLR Traction Plus platform have already proven to be high-quality, durable motion solutions at a very competitive price point.
While the aforementioned solutions are top-notch products generating seat movement and traction-loss simulation, they still don’t result in what we would call a full-motion chassis.

Now Next Level Racing has addressed that topic, by developing the new compact NLR Motion Plus platform, adding full cockpit movement to the existing NLR Motion Eco System. Designed from the ground up, the new Motion Plus platform adds heave, pitch, and roll movement to an entire Sim Racing chassis.

Built to be precise, the Motion Plus platform runs 4,000 micro-processes every second directly from the game, for the most accurate feedback possible while driving your favorite racing simulation.

Rather than industrial or custom-made actuators, the Next Level Racing Motion Plus platform uses advanced technology and manufacturing, developed entirely for simulation. Using magnetic encoders attached to the motor shaft, the Motion Plus platform is able to provide accurate game feedback to the hardware, with up to 21 degrees/second of velocity roll, while braking and acceleration effects can be felt at up to 8 degrees/second.

A single unit of the Motion Plus platform provides the user with a 2 DOF experience and allows them to upgrade to a 3 DOF experience by adding a second unit providing pitch, roll, and heave. The combination of different Next Level Racing® motion platforms and the Motion Plus platform results in up to 4 DOF.

The NLR motion systems work in unison with the excellent Next Level Racing Platform Manager software, which has undergone a major overhaul to incorporate the Motion Plus device to work in perfect harmony. The Platform Manager is specialized professional software that allows using all major racing and flying titles on PC. 

Updates are constant to support new titles as soon as they are released. The Platform Manager is a complex and powerful engine, yet user-friendly, which means you can easily adjust the intensity of motion, bumps, roll, and pitch with the click of a button. You can also adjust the intensity of the effects on each individual motion unit when paired with the Motion V3 platform and the Traction Plus platform. Assembly and use require little or no technical assistance.
