During the Gamescom 2013 press conference, Polyphony Digital and Sony announced that Gran Turismo 6 will be released worldwide on December 6, 2013. Gran Turismo 6 will be run on the Playstation 3 and will be featuring 1200 cars at time of release, and many will be added for purchase in game in a later stage.
