As such a force-feedback steering wheel is strongly recommended, although keyboard, joysticks and gamepads are fully supported. World Racing Series also allows to host and join online races, with an integrated matchmaking server. During events data is collected, to provide statistics for drivers' comparison.

The 2012 Canadian Grand Prix Formula One is scheduled to take place on 10 June, 2012 at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal, Canada. The race, which is scheduled to take place over 70 laps, will be the seventh round of the 2012 Formula One season, and the first of two North American rounds. It will be the 49th Canadian Grand Prix, and the 33rd to be held at the circuit since its début on the calendar in 1978.

CodeMasters revealed two more preview shots of their upcoming F1 2012 Game. The shots are showing the mcLaren and the Lotus on track. CodieMasters are represented with F1 2012 at the E3 expo. Visitors are able to do a virtual lap.

Chief Game Designer Stephen Hood is at the wheel of the Mclaren F1 car from the game. Stephen is driving on an Xbox 360 with a Fanatec CSR Wheel and Clubsport pedals and driving at the Inside Sim Racing Studios. Despite its rather stunning appearance the game is still a work in progress and due out in September of 2012. Key features to watch our for: Front wheel lockup including tire smoke, operation of KERS and DRS, on the fly adjustment of brake bias.
