MX Bikes Beta 5 Released
PiBoSo has released the Beta 5 version of his MX Bikes Motorcross simulator for the PC. MX-Bikes is a realistic dirt-bike simulator, based on a scratch built physics engine that accurately simulates motorcycle dynamics and setup options.
At the time of writing, PiBoSo did not yet release the full changelog for the MX Bikes Beta 5 Release. We will keep you posted when we receive more info. The included videos show us the new Winchester and Washington MX tracks.
You can download the MX Bikes Beta 5 at the official Piboso website. The MX-Bikes Beta 5 download weighs in at 1.23 GB and will work as a demo until you unlock it by entering a license key. An MX Bikes license will cost you €25. With the license, the time limit will be lifted. You will receive support, software updates, and additional content.
Download
To update:
- delete everything in the MX Bikes installation folder and in “My Documents”/PiBoSo/MX Bikes/ except for license.ini
- launch the new installer
Release notes:
- a clean installation is strong recommended
- replays are not compatible with the previous versions
- at the moment the Stability Helper is meant to stay always at 100%
- The way to enable the physics debug mode has been changed: http://forum.mx-bikes.com/index.php?topic=1383
- It is now possible to change the blending between the “on” and “off” engine sound layers setting “blend_exp” in the file sfx.cfg of each bike. Values above 1 give priority to the “off” layer.
- It is now possible to add an engine limiter sound editing the file sfx.cfg
