Dutch Sim Racing Chassis manufacturer PlaySeat has announced a long-term partnership with F1, developing and offering a series of officially licensed F1 branded products, ranging from accessible seats to high-end professional simulators.
The first product in the series is the Formula Intelligence F1 Edition Chassis, formerly known as the Playseat Formula Intelligence Red Bull Racing simulator cockpit. The Formula Intelligence F1 Edition Chassis will be available in several colors or F1 branded designs.
The strengthened fully adjustable chassis is made out of lightweight carbon steel and is supposed to be flex-free and supports high-end direct-drive wheels and high-pressure pedal sets. ( Optional PlaySeat Direct-Drive Pro adapter needed). The unit is fitted with an adjustable PU Leather Black racing seat.
The base model is depicted with an integrated monitor stand, however, at the time of writing it was not clear whether this feature will be included, or comes as an optional item.
