During the season finale of the Porsche TAG Heuer Esports Supercup iRacing and Porsche officially announced that the Porsche 911 GT3 R will be available on the online racing platform this June.
The Porsche 911 GT3 R is single-seat customer race car, which uses the 911 GT3 RS (991.2) as a basis, and is homologated in accordance with the FIA GT3 regulations. The car is powered by a 4 liter water-cooled six-cylinder horizontally opposed boxer engine that is rear mounted.
This engine delivers 550hp, (subject to FIA BoP classification by use of an air restrictor) All this power is transferred to the rear wheel via a Porsche six-speed constant-mesh sequential gearbox operated via Paddle shifters with an electronic shift barrel actuator.
