Project CARS 3 Coming?

Only a few weeks ago, Slightly Mad Studios, presented their professional version of Project CARS which is in development to become a marketing media tool for the automotive world and will be officially launched in 2019. Sadly enough, it became immediately clear that the Project CARS Pro platform is exclusively aimed at the automotive industry, and will most likely not make its entrance in the consumer market.

That still left us guessing if or when we would ever see a new consumer edition in the popular Project CARS franchise. But now there is more news.

In the forums over at www.gtplanet.net, Slightly Mad Studios’ CEO, Ian Bell has confirmed that Slightly Mad Studios are planning, or already developing a new Project CARS title.

Slightly Mad Studios’ CEO, Ian Bell said: You heard it here first. There will be a new pCARS, it’s signed. I can’t tell you anything but don’t hold your breath on timings. We plan to blow anything else, planned by anyone else, out of the water… That will take a while.

Keep in mind that this is not an official announcement. At the time of writing, no further game details were revealed. That said, we are very curious to find out the development/release time frame and the targeted platforms being PC, current or next-gen consoles.
