Project CARS First Free Car – Lykan Hypersport

Every month, Slightly Mad Studios will be giving away a free Project CARS vehicle, as a thank you to Project CARS fans for being so patient in the lead up to the release of the game.

The first of a series of free cars will be the Lykan Hypersport. The Lykan is the first supercar to be produced in the Middle East and will be featured in the upcoming Furious 7 movie.

The Lykan Hypersport is a limited production sports car by Lebanese based company W Motors that was founded in 2012. only seven cars are build.  The Lykan HyperSport is powered by a Porsche twin turbo flat-six 3.7-litre engine producing 740 bhp. The car has a top speed of 385 km/h (239 mph) and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) in 2.8 seconds.

Project CARS Creative Director, Andy Tudor, commented “we are immensely pleased to have this awesome machine in the game and to give fans the chance to get behind the wheel of a truly amazing vehicle. The Lykan Hypersport represents the first of a series of free cars we’ll be giving away every month as a thank you to our fans for being so patient for the launch of the game. We’ll have more info on the full schedule of further content for Project CARS soon but we hope that this is a great sneak peek of just one way in which Project CARS is going to expand in the future.”

Project CARS will become available somewhere during May for the PC, Sony PlayStation 4, WiiU and Microsoft Xbox One. For the PC, Project CARS will be released as a boxed retail version and as a digital download on the Steam platform.
