Slightly Mad Studios announced that they officially licensed a set of Audi models. Two road cars, (2012 Audi A1 quattro – 2013 Audi R8 V10 Plus) and five of Audi’s racing weapons will become part of Project Cars. Three out of five racing car models are LM Prototypes ranging from the 2002 Audi R8 LMP900 to the present 2014 Audi R18 e-tron quattro. One of the most interesting cars in the pack will be the 1989 Audi 90 IMSA GTO. This wide-body turbocharged monster is one of the most iconic Audi’s ever build. This 1989 Quatro IMSA GTO racer was powered by a 5 cylinder 2190cc engine with 20 valves. it delivered a staggering 720hp at 7500 rpm.
Finaly the 2013 Audi R8 LMS Ultra GT3 completes the package. This popular customer race car is complying with FIA GT3 regulations and is competing in numerous international GT3 series around the world. The V10 powered 2013 Audi R8 LMS Ultra remains one of the best GT3 race cars currently available.
