Project CARS Nissan GT-R Nismo GT1 mod Released
The Machine Dojo Modding team has released the 2010 Nissan GT-R Nismo GT1 mod for Project CARS by Slightly Mad Studios.
The Nissan GT-R Nismo GT1 is the second car model for the MDM 2010 FIA GT1 World Championship mod. To complete the package, the Machine Dojo Modding team will release 4 more car models as listed below.
Just as the recently released Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 R-SV GT1, the Nissan GT-R Nismo GT1 is a conversion of the Slightly Mad Studios Shift 2 Unleashed 3D model. The original car models received new textures and feature some 3D edits to bring them up to the required standards. As far as we know, the conversions were authorized.

Nismo is the motorsports and performance division of Nissan. They designed the Nissan Nismo GT-R GT1 that is based on the road-going version of the Nissan GT-R specifically to compete in the FIA GT1 World Championship that was held from 2010 to 2012. The GT1 racing Nismo is powered by a race prepared VK56DE naturally aspirated 5,552cc V8 engine that puts out 600 PS. (According to GT1 regulations)
After the GT1 series ceased to exist in 2012 it was morphed into the FIA GT Series that would be contested with GT3-spec cars only. The Nismo GT1 was converted into a GT-R Nismo GT3 that is powered by a VR38DETT, 3,799cc twin-turbo V6 engine.
