Project Cars Playstation 4 Gameplay – first look (ISR)
Darin Gangi of Inside Sim Racing presents a new E3 2014 special report. In this E3 report, Darin checks out the Project Cars PlayStation 4 version. You can watch a few laps on the British Brands Hatch circuit driving a Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 car with 16 cars on the track.
Darin had to test the title using a gamepad, and with the sound turned down. While not ideal, it does give us a first look at Project cars running on the next gen console. His first impressions are promising. Great lighting effect. Superb car models, and most importantly a very decent frame-rate.
Project CARS will be one of the first games on PS4 to support virtual reality via the Project Morpheus headset. When released on the next Gen consoles, the Slightly Mad Studios title will become a major competitor for Gran Turismo, Forza Motorsport and Driveclub. With its visually superb car models and tracks, and it physics that are leaning more to the simulator world, than the arcade side of things, Project CARS might just as well become the future nr.1 when it comes to racing games on the consoles.
Project CARS by Slightly Mad Studios is targeted to be released in the autumn of 2014 for the PC, XBox One, PS4 and WiiU systems. Official Project CARS Webpages – http://www.wmdportal.com – www.projectcarsgame.com
