The McLaren P1 is the long-awaited successor to the McLaren F1 GTR. The P1 is a limited-production hybrid Hypercar introduced in 2012 by the British McLaren Automotive company. In total 375 cars were manufactured and sold out in the first month after launch for prices op to 1.2 million euros.

The car is powered by a 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine delivering a staggering 727 bhp. This hybrid car also features an Electric motor producing an additional 176 bhp giving it a whopping 903 bhp. The McLaren P1 is featuring a set of high-tech features such as the Instant Power Assist System (IPAS), Drag Reduction System (DRS) and Kinetic energy recovery system (KERS). The P1 accelerated from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.8 seconds and has an electronically-limited top speed of 349 km/h (217 mph).

Project CARS is supposed to become available somewhere in May of this year for the PC, Sony PlayStation 4, WiiU and Microsoft Xbox One. For the PC, Project CARS will be released as a boxed retail version and as a digital download on the Steam platform.

Project CARS will be available as a standard edition or as a Limited Edition featuring some exclusive content.
