RaceRoom Racing Experience BMW Z4 GT3 at the Red Bull Ring
In this R3E video we can watch and listen to an R3E BMW Z4 GT3 that is lapping the newly added Red Bull Ring circuit. Keeping in mind that the game is still very much a work in progress, it can be said that the graphics are already superb, and the sound reaches an amazing level of detail.
With the addition of Multi and Single player game modes, it seems a lot of Sim Racers are getting interested in R3E, and overall reactions are pretty promising. On the downside, a good number of comments and forum threads show that most people don’t like the menu system, and would prefer a more classical menu that is easier to navigate. Sector3 Studios already announced that they will be moving to a web based R3E menu interface sooner or later. This might mean the developer grants the community its wishes.
After yesterdays update, Sector3 Studios released a few hot-fixes to iron out some problems that came with this update. A sure sign that the current development team is committed to bringing us the best experience possible.
Hot Fixes:
- Fixed an issue where the linked discount was not applying to the linked car (e.g. ADAC 2013 Mercedes SLS <-> GTR3 Mercedes SLs for a while due to the cache not refreshing after a pack purchase.
- Fixed an issue with competitions not launching if the content of the competition is of another experience. Re-enabled the DTM Lausitzring competition.
- Removed EvO (R3E Event Version) controller profiles that was uploaded by accident.
- Fixed an issue with the race length being 5 laps on most tracks.
- Fixed an issue where the user could not inspect the pack he/she purchased in the “Purchased Content” tab.
