R3E Salzburgring Track available
Sector3 announced they will release the Salzburgring circuit for RaceRoom Racing Experience later today and already posted a track introduction video. In the video, WTCC driver Tom Coronel takes you on a lap around the R3E Salzburgring while explaining the key spots of the Austrian track.
Update: The Salzburgring track for R3E is now available for 399 vRP at the RaceRoom Racing Experience Store.
Sector3 is rapidly becoming one of the developers raising the quality bar of simulation software. Allot of the community members already gave it the Gold award for in-game sounds and are now starting to appreciate the eye for detail and visual quality incorporated in the track creations.
The 4.225 kilometres long Salzburgring opened in 1968. It is located in northern Austria, eight miles east of the city of Salzburg and is Austria’s second permanent track. the circuit is most famous for its touring car races such as the German ADAC Procar Series, Deutsche Produktionswagen Meisterschaft, DTC, STC and WTCC events. The track also hosted numerous motorcycle races.
