RaceRoom 2018 FIA WTCR DLC Released
Sector3 Studios released the highly anticipated 2018 FIA WTCR DLC for their RaceRoom racing simulator. The 2018 FIA World Touring Car Cup (WTCR) contains all 7 brands in the championship, including all official teams and drivers.
The FIA World Touring Car Cup, also known as the FIA WTCR presented by Oscaro is an international touring car championship promoted by Eurosport Events and sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA). The 2018 World Touring Car Cup (WTCR) takes over from the World Touring Car Championship and adopts the TCR technical regulations, though it will be the 14th overall season of the series that dates from the 2005 World Touring Car Championship.
The RaceRoom WTCR pack including the seven TCR car models is available at the RaceRoom Store for €14.96. Individual cars are available for €3.98. A great selection of liveries are available for €0.29 each.

Sector3 Studios added “Launch Control” key mapping to RaceRoom. The WTCR cars are currently the only vehicles featuring it.
Esports WTCR Competition
The release of the DLC also initiated the start of the new RaceRoom Esports WTCR OSCARO Online Championship powered by KW Suspensions Sweden, Eurosport Events, and Fanatec.
The championship consists of two parts. 7 rounds of time attack, open from August 15th until November 6th. You can join whenever you want and improve your times and collect points. Perhaps the real WTCR drivers will make an appearance on the leaderboard, too. In addition, the best drivers from each time attack round will qualify for multiplayer races, where they score points for the Multiplayer Championship.
Multiplayer races will be streamed live on the FIA WTCR OSCARO Facebook and YouTube accounts with graphics and expert commentary. All races will be held on Sunday evenings from 19h00 CET with the first event taking place at a virtual Hungaroring on Sunday 26 August.

When the deadline for qualifying for the Multiplayer race is reached, the leaderboard will close. In this period, drivers will be invited for the Multiplayer races. After the Multiplayer race is done, the leaderboard will be opened again.
