The update is scheduled to be released on the 15th of October and will include free track updates for the Hungaroring and Salzburgring, an LED System Overhaul for the Porsche 911 GT3 R (992), AI Updates, Car Tweaks, and a number of general fixes and improvements.

What’s New in the October Update?

  • Performance Boosts
Right after our September update, we have started on a deep cleanup of our rendering code, as a first step towards further engine upgrades. Doing so, further performance gains  were obtained that we felt were too good to hold back. GPU performance will greatly benefit from a reduction of overdraw, particularly in the demanding cockpit view. The result? Smoother racing, because every frame counts! Or you could choose to run higher resolutions, Anti-Aliasing, or shadows with this extra headroom!

Triple Screen and VR Fixes
We are also addressing vanishing objects at the seam between two triple screen monitors as well as at the far edge of the right eye FOV in VR. You can enjoy a more seamless and immersive experience, no matter your setup.
