RaceRoom – BMW M6 GT3 In-Game Preview Videos

Sector3 Studios has some very exciting RaceRoom content and game features lined up for 2017.

Back in April last year, the Swedish developer announced that they had licensed the BMW M6 GT3 model for their RaceRoom Racing Experience. Now the first in-game preview videos surfaced on the web.

YouTubers Joël Ejk and Maxou Le Pilote both posted an onboard video showing us the RaceRoom BMW M6 GT3 in action at the Spa-Francorchamps and Oschersleben tracks. At this time, Sector3 Studios did not yet confirm a release date, but we expect the car to become available #soon.

The 2016 BMW M6 GT3 racing car is based on the road-going BMW M6 Coupé and replaces the very successful BMW Z4 GT3, which had been in action since 2010. The new BMW GT3 flagship is powered by a race modified 4.4-litre V8 engine with BMW Motorsport M TwinPower Turbo technology.

The engine pumps out a respectable 585 hp to the rear wheels via a transaxle six-speed sequential racing transmission. That is slightly less than the road-going ‘Competition’ branded M6. However, only weighing in at 1,300 kilograms, and fitted with an aero package that is optimized in the BMW wind tunnel, the GT3 is the quickest of the brothers.
