RaceRoom – First DTM 2020 Content Previews
From 2013 until 2016, Sector3 Studios partnered up with the German DTM series to include DTM content in their RaceRoom Racing Experience title. Back in May, Sector3 Studios proudly Tweeted that they had once more secured a Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters license to bring the DTM 2020 car content to RaceRoom.
Now the Swedish game developer shared the first screenshots of the upcoming 2020 Audi RS 5 and BMW M4 DTM cars for RaceRoom. While no release date has been confirmed at the time of writing, Sector3 has made it a thing to honor their #Soon hashtag. Therefore, the 2020 DTM content could become available sooner than we think.
In the real world, the 2020 DTM championship could well be the last one. With the Aston Martin DTM outfit R Motorsport already withdrawn from the DTM earlier this year, also manufacturer Audi has recently announced it will end its participation in DTM at the end of this season to focus on its Formula E and customer racing projects.
As things stand now, BMW will be the only manufacturer left, which means it will most likely be the end for the DTM in its current format.
