RaceRoom – Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport Previews

Sector3 Studios is getting ready to launch the first Porsche DLC for their RaceRoom racing simulator. After confirming the 2017 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup as the first of three cars in the Porsche DLC, they now introduced the Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport as part of the pack.

No official release date has been confirmed yet, but Sector3 Studios hinted that the Porsche DLC #1 should be available before the end of the year. While not included on release day, Sector3 Studios has scheduled a series of liveries to become available at a later date.

Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport

The Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport made its world debut at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show. At first glance, the Cayman GT4 Clubsport doesn’t look much different from the standard street-legal Porsche Cayman GT4. But looks deceive. The GT4 Clubsport is a fully fletched factory-built race car, complete with full slicks, race seats, roll cage and an air jack system. With the Cayman GT4 Clubsport, Porsche Motorsport is offering customers a less expensive and lower maintenance racing car which is suitable to compete in various racing series around the world.

The Cayman GT4 Clubsport is powered by a mid-mounted 3.8L DOHC 24-valve flat-6 engine that pumps out 385 hp. The power is transferred to the rear wheels via a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox giving the car reaches a top speed of 299 km/h (186 mph).
