RaceRoom Racing Experience Group 5 – Pure Sounds

It’s day 4 of Sector3’s  “Group 5 week”. Today we are invited trackside and enjoy the sounds of the upcoming Group 5 update for the RaceRoom Racing Experience simulator.

All the sounds you hear in the video are 100% in-game noises. The quality war between the simulation platforms is fearce, and as in most wars, there is never a true winner. That said, in our humble opinion Sector3 has won the battle of the sounds.

Whether it’s the Turbocharged inline 4 cylinder of the BMW320, Flat 6 turbo of the Fabcar, four-cylinder Ford Cosworth of the Capri, V-8’s of the Chevy Monza and Corvette or the Japanese Turbocharged Nissan’s, they all sound absolutely authentic and fabulous.

And there is more to come. Sector3’s video Guru, Georg Ortner tweeted that the official R3E Group 5 trailer is nearly ready. So keep an eye out for some more RaceRoom graphical delight.

RaceRoom Racing Experience will be blessed with a new selection of turbocharged Monsters from the 70s and 80s. The already available BMW 320 Turbo and Zakspeed Capri Group 5 cars will be joined by some impressive and awesome looking machinery such as the Fabcar 935, Chevrolet Monza Dekon, Nissan Skyline 2000RS, Chevrolet Corvette and the Nissan Silvia Turbo.
