RaceRoom – Spa-Francorchamps Video – WIP preview
Sector3 Studios have already proven that the tracks featured in their RaceRoom Racing Experience title are up there with the best available.
While R3E already features a selection better and lesser known tracks, and are working on a laser scanned version of the Nurburgring Nordschleife, there is more to come. One of the most iconic tracks in the world is without a doubt the Belgian Spa-Francorchamps Circuit. As we speak, the Sector3 Studios track team is hard at work bringing us a very realistic virtual version of the Belgian F1 venue.
With its 7.004 km (4.352 m) length and its 20 turns, the Belgian Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps is one of the world’s most famous racing tracks and is the home of the Formula One Belgian Grand Prix, and the Spa 24 Hours. The most famous part of the circuit is without a doubt the Eau Rouge / Raidillon combination.
To demonstrate the current progress made on the track, 6e66o takes us for a few laps around the WIP version of the R3E Spa-Francorchamps Circuit during a R3E GT Series race. Once more the humble Sector3 development team shows us that they are very dedicated to make sure that RaceRoom Racing Experience stays on the path of becoming one of the better racing simulator titles on the market. ( keep in mind that the video and screenshots represent a “work in progress” version of the content.)
On the bottom of this post you can see an in-game R3E screenshot showcasing Eau Rouge wich is the most spectacular corner of the Belgian Ardennes track, and maybe one of the most famous in the world.
