Sector3 Studios officially released the Dutch TT Circuit Assen for RaceRoom Racing Experience. The release contains 3 layouts in the form of the Grand Prix track, the North Course, and the Motorcycle Course.
The TT Circuit Assen is a race track in the northern Netherlands that was built in 1955. For Motorcycle fans all over the world, the track has become famous for its Dutch TT (Tourist Trophy) race. The 4.555 km long track has a mix of high-speed and sharp slow corners. The track has a capacity of 110,000 spectators.
The circuit changed a few times during its history and was fundamentally redesigned in 2006, becoming the so-called A-Style Assen TT Circuit. All alterations aside, only one section of the circuit is original, the finish line never moved.
Assen is the longest-running event on the MotoGP calendar. Next to motorcycles, the track is also used for various Autosports events. The most famous ones were the one-time European tour of the American Champcar series in 2007, DTM, BOSS GP, Formula Renault 2.0 NEC, and more. These days the Supercar Challenge regard the venue as its home track, starting and ending their season on the tarmac of Assen.
