Racing Sim with AccuForce, SimVibe, HPP Pedals, and Oculus Rift DK2
It has been a while since we last posted a Todd Bettenhausen video. As some of you may know, Todd’s racing simulators are a constant work in progress.
This time we can witness an iRacing Skip Barber race at Lime Rock Park. At least that’s what we have been told, because this time Todd is checking out the Oculus Rift DK2 virtual reality headset. To enhance the realism and feel of the virtual experience, he added some impressive hardware to the racing rig.
The rig is fitted with a SimXperience Direct Drive AccuForce wheel, SimXperience SimVibe Tactile feedback and the beautifully crafted HPP Pedals, making sure that while using the VR headset all senses are stimulated in the correct manner.
