rF2 Endurance Series – More Ligier JS P2 preview screens

The EnduRacers Modding Team and the Gentlemen Racers have shared some more preview screens showcasing the Ligier JS P2 that will be part of the Endurance Series mod for rFactor 2.

The screenshots are taken during a test session racing against the Oreca 03 and the Gibson 015S lmp2 competitors. At the moment, the Ligier JS P2 is still dressed in its virgin matte carbon livery, but by the time of release it will feature a selection of skins to dress it up. Enduracers further announce that they are now fine-tuning the look of the v1.0 cars.

The Ligier JS P2 is a Le Mans Prototype 2 (LMP2) Endurance racing car designed and built by French manufacturer Onroak Automotive, and named in partnership with French former Formula One team owner Guy Ligier.  The Ligier JS P2 was the first Onroak build car that featured a closed-cockpit design.

The car was designed to be able to utilize the available LMP2 engines such as the Nissan and Judd’s naturally aspirated V8 engines and Honda’s turbocharged V6 engine. The JS P2 debuted at the 2014 edition od the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and has been campaigned in the FIA World Endurance Championship, European Le Mans Series, Asian Le Mans Series and United SportsCar Championship.
