rFactor 2 – 2014 Formula Renault 3.5 revealed
Image Space Incorporated surprised us with another announcement. A newly updated version of the Formula Renault 3.5 will be added to the official content of rFactor 2 and replace the existing Formula Renault car. With the Indianapolis Motor Speedway track and Dallara DW-12 Indycar close to release, this announcement came out of the blue. It is even rumoured that the 2014 spec Formula Renault 3.5 would be released before the Indy car and track.
At this time it is not clear if the 2014 Formula Renault 3.5 announcement was an official reveal, or leaked content news.
The 2014 Formula Renault 3.5 Series season is a multi-event motor racing championship for open wheel, formula racing cars held across Europe. The championship features drivers competing in 3.5 litre Formula Renault single seat race cars that conform to the technical regulations for the championship.
The 2014 season will be the tenth Formula Renault 3.5 Series season organized by the Renault Sport and are part of the World Series by Renault weekends. Many former formula Renault drivers made it to the Formula One Championship, making it an important series for aspiring single seater drivers.
