rFactor 2 – 2019 Formula E In-Game Preview

Not so long ago, by means of mystery teaser screenshots, Studio 397 hinted that the second-generation Formula E racer was coming to rFactor 2. This indicated that Studio 397 had most likely extended its FIA Formula E content license.

Now Studio 397 shared the first in-game screenshot of the new FIA Formula Electric racer and therefore seem to indicate that the release might be imminent. At the time of writing, it is not yet clear if this car will become available as a new DLC, or as an update for the already available Formula E Energize Pack.

From a simulation point of view, the 2019 Formula E racer will significantly change the racing experience, as the 250kW (335bhp) 2018/2019 spec Formula E car is faster than its predecessor and almost doubles the amount of energy storage capacity and range.
