rFactor 2 – Apple Valley Speedway Previews

NASCAR fans will be pleased to hear that Image Space Incorporated posted a new set of preview screens showcasing a new upcoming oval track for rFactor 2.

Apple Valley Speedway is a new third-party (3PA) track creation representing what looks to be the Fontana Auto Club Speedway oval. The screenshots show us that both the oval and the infield road course will be available and that the track will also feature a night setting with active track lighting.

Auto Club Speedway is a two-mile (3.22 km), low-banked, D-shaped oval superspeedway situated in Fontana, California. The venue has hosted NASCAR races since 1997. The track also features a 1.45 mi (2.3 km) Interior Test Circuit, a 2.8 mi (4.5 km) Sports Car Course, and a 1/4 mi (0.40 km) drag strip.
