rFactor 2 – NOLA Motorsports Park Preview Videos

STUDIO 397 is getting ready to release a new exciting track for their rFactor 2 racing simulator in the form of the NOLA Motorsports Park.

Today, well known Sim Racer Pablo López and avid YouTuber Jimmy Broadbent have both published a preview video showcasing the upcoming track while driving the rF2 Dallara DW12 Indycar.

The new NOLA Motorsports Park track for rF2 will be available for free on February 28th.

• A Course: 2.748 miles / 4.423 km
• B Course: 1.877 miles / 3.020 km
• C Course: 2.312 miles / 3.720 km

NOLA Motorsports Park is a permanent road course situated just outside New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. The 2.75 mile world-class track consists of 16 turns with a 5,200 foot straightaway. It is the brainchild of famed track designer Alan Wilson. NOLA Motorsports Park is a fairly new track, as construction began in 2010, and was complete by January 2011.

In 2011 the US FF2000, Pro Mazda and Indy Lights series used NOLA Motorsports Park for its winter testing series. From 2015 on, the venue hosts the Indycar Grand Prix of Louisiana. Besides the road circuit, the venue also features a multi-layout kart track and an 8-acre area for autocross.
