Sébastien Loeb Rally Evo release postponed until 2016
Milestone Studios in Italy have announced that the release of the Sébastien Loeb Rally Evo title that was originally scheduled for October 2015 has been postponed until early 2016.
An October 2015 release would have put the title head to head with the release dates of Kylotonn Games WRC 5 and Codemasters DIRT Rally who are both rival rally games. However, the publisher claimed that this is not the main reason for the delay. Milestone Studios wants to use the extra development time to ensure the quality of the release product.
“Sébastien Loeb Rally EVO is the biggest project ever made by Milestone since now. We’ve decided to postpone it to focus more on the title development. This release date change will offer to the players a rally simulation that represents a higher quality on the video game experience”, affirms Luisa Bixio, V.P. Milestone.
Sebastien Loeb Rally Evo is a new racing game that launches the player into the life of one of the most iconic figures in the history of Rally Racing: Sébastien Loeb. Besides the regular WRC stages, the game will also feature rallycross tracks and the famous Colorado Springs Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.
The Rally game will include both an online and offline gaming modes and a full career mode. Sebastien Loeb Rally Evo will feature around 300 Kilometers of tracks on 8 different rallies, more than 50 car models out of 20 car manufacturers. Drivers will have the chance to customize their cars. They will be able to choose among 20 different liveries, special materials to be applied on the body, Race Number Plate and Stickers.
Sebastien Loeb Rally Evo will be released somewhere in 2016 for the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
