Sector3 Studios launched its new Website

Sector3 Studios launched it’s brand new official website sharing company info and available job opportunities.

Formerly known as SimBin Studios, Sector3 Studios is a Swedish video game developer and publisher of some famous racing simulators for the PC system. The company has its headquarters at the Gothia Science park in Skövdein Lidköping Sweden.

Back in the days, the company originated out of a very dedicated modding team that had released a 2002 FIA GT championship mod for the ISI F1 2002 game.This mod became the basis of the later on released commercial GTR game. The GTR series of games can be looked upon as an important part of a new trend that evolved to the Sim Racing world we all know today.

After releasing GTR, GT Legends, GTR2, and the popular RACE, RACE 07 and GTR Evolution games,  the company started focusing on a new title. In 2012 SimBin released RaceRoom Racing Experience. R3E in short is a Free2Race game that can be expanded by the means of Experience packs, including exiting material such as the officially branded DTM, ADAC GT Masters and World Touring Cars (WTCC) content.

After having some financial problems the original SimBin Studios was converted in what we now know as Sector3 Studios. On September 1st, 2014, SimBin officially changed their name to Sector3 Studios, as part of a company restructuring.  The good news was that Sector3 took over the development of RaceRoom Racing Experience and continues releasing updates, securing the bright future of the R3E title.
