SHH Newt Shifter Review By The SRG
Barry Rowland of the Sim Racing Garage presents his review of the latest iteration of the 3D printed SHH NEWT H-pattern/Sequential shifter.
Back in 2014, Aritz Aramburu finished building his own shifter for use in PC Racing simulation titles, he decided to develop a commercial shifter that was simple, yet robust and most of all cost-effective. The shifter should also be easily convertible from H-pattern to sequential mode. The result was the original SHH 3D Printed Shifter.
The NEWT is the latest version of the SHH Shifter. Its the fourth evolution and better than ever. The electronics are 100% updated, now with USB-B connector and a redesigned modular casing. More CNC machined parts and a better 7R shift plate for smoother shifting.
The Newt shifter is available in 4 colors (Black, Red, White, and Grey). Furthermore, you can select 6 different colors of top plates, 2 types of top plates and 6 different mounting options. You are able to choose a customized logo and/or optional text.
You can order your preferred SHH Newt Shifter via the official webpage for 98.00€. Aritz will send you an email confirming your order with an approximate shipping date. The shifter body features an embedded SHH logo, but for 10.00€ extra you can have your own logo on the unit, and for another 6.00€ you can add a personal text.
