The Sparco Evo Racing Seat Series of products are not persé sim racing equipment, but let’s face it. If you build a sim racing rig, you will need a racing seat, and what could be better than a high-end product as found in a real-world racing/rally car.
The Sparco Evo competition seat has been developed in collaboration with many leading drivers to produce a racing seat ideally suited for circuit racing but is also a great seat to use in rally cars. Constructed from fiberglass to form a light shell the Evo seat is safe and comfortable.

In this episode of the Sim Racing Garage, Barry Rowland will review the product materials, explains the mounting options and performs a test of the Sparco Evo 1 mounted on his SimXperience Full Motion rig. The Sparco Evo 1 version is the lightest and smallest out of the Sparco Evo Series and should have a beneficial effect on the rig’s motion and tactile feedback features.

The Sparco Evo 1 Racing Seat is available in Europe for a price between €400 and €500. The US prices seem to be slightly higher at the time of writing.
