As stated, all three models feature a newly designed custom 5-pole servo motor with ultra-low inertia. This design aims to deliver sharper, faster, and smoother force feedback.

The mentioned “Zero” Cogging Technology is designed to eliminate the mechanical notchiness that can be found in some other direct drive wheelbases, resulting in smoother and more precise force feedback.

The steering wheel position is accurately tracked by a 21-bit High-Resolution Encoder, while the new Generation Dynamic Force Domain Filter (DFDF) algorithm is specifically tuned for ultra-low inertia servo motors, aiming to balance linear feel and control performance, adapting to the user’s driving style.

Furthermore, all models feature a CNC-machined integrated aluminum housing and come with an active cooling system with a temperature regulator to ensure consistent peak performance even during extended use.

The Patented Slip Ring Technology contributes to a built-in wired connection for Simagic steering wheels while also supporting data transmission. Also, the design includes magnetic contacts for future plug-and-play Simagic dashboard upgrades. For safety measures, the wheelbases feature a Power On/Off Button.

With the built-in Extender, the wheelbase supports a new automotive-grade CAN FD protocol for higher data transmission speeds and larger data payloads, improving communication with other Simagic devices. It also supports CAN and USB protocols.

Also, the visual aspect of the product is not forgotten. An RGB light ring around the wheelbase can provide telemetry feedback and dynamic ambient lighting, which can be customized via the updated SimPro Manager Software. The SimPro Manager Software also allows users to control various force feedback details of the wheelbase.

The new wheelbases support third-party steering wheels via a supplied QR adapter with a 70mm hole pattern and offer compatibility with the broader Simagic ecosystem. An optional QR-A USB Quick Release makes the unit compatible with third-party wheels, featuring a built-in USB socket for direct PC connection and a magnetic connector for improved consistency.

The wheelbase offers a number of mounting options, including a default (M6 X 4 threaded holes) bottom mount, optional side and front mounts (brackets sold separately), and a desk mount.
