Not so long ago, Barry took an indepth look at the Standard Round 300mm Diameter SIMAGIC GT1R Wheel. This time, Barry takes the formula style SIMAGIC GT4 wheel through the SRG review process.
At the beginning of 2020, the Chinese Simagic company recently introduced two new direct drive wheel systems in the form of the Simagic M10 and Simagic Alpha units. The M10 is delivering 10 Nm torque and is marketed as an entree-level DD unit, while the 15 Nm Alpha model is aimed at the professional market and more demanding Sim Racing enthusiast. Besides the new Direct Drive wheelbases, Simagic also introduced the GT1 and GT4 Steering Wheel rim, featuring a 2.4Ghz Wireless Communication module for the wheel electronics.
