Back in April 2019, Finnish e-sport, and professional simulation racing hardware manufacturer, Granite Devices introduced the Simucube 2 direct drive sim racing wheelbase, which is the successor of the successful Simucube 1. The Simucube 2 is available in three different torque level variants: The Simucube 2 Sport, the Simucube 2 Pro, and the professional Simucube 2 Ultimate model.
Hardware is only as good as the software that drives it. Therefore, Simucube has developed its True Drive software suit. Simucube True Drive is the configuration software for Simucube 2. With True Drive, a user can see the device’s status information, edit the settings, manage connections to the Simucube Wireless Wheels and adjust the various safety features of the Simucube 2.
The new Early Access version of the True Drive software now includes the Simucube cloud based community profile sharing feature named True Drive Paddock. (formerly known as Profile Online)
Simucube users can now download the Early Access version of the new True Drive software for the Sport / Pro R1 and all Ultimate models via the Simucube website.
Note: Download and install Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 Redistributable package from the Microsoft’s server if you get msv dll errors when you try to start True Drive.
