Finnish e-sport, and professional simulation racing hardware manufacturer, Simucube revealed the new Valo GT-23 Sim Racing Steering Wheel.
This beauty which can be regarded as the follow-up of teh Tahko GT 21 wheel, is the newest D-shaped steering wheel in the Simucube ecosystem. The comfortable and ergonomic 320mm diameter rim is made from black anodized CNC-milled aluminum resulting in a very rigid wheel with no flex. The other wheel is covered in Alcantara for maximum grip and durability.
The front wheel plate houses 18 RGB LEDs for telemetry effects such as RPM, shift lights, ABS, DRS, speed limiter, and flags which can all be set up in the Simucube software.
Furthermore, the Valo GT-23 features 10 Apem industrial-grade tactile push buttons with aluminum button guards, 2 Alps Alpine 7-way switches with rotary encoders with a center button function, 2 front rotary encoder knobs, and two thumb rotary encoders with push button functionality.
The rear of the rim features 2 adjustable shift paddles with Omron microswitches and N52 neodymium magnets, and an adjustable Dual clutch system with Hall effect sensors and adjustable bite point position.
The electronics are connected to the Simucube ecosystem via the wireless low-latency Simucube Link system. The power is delivered by rechargeable NiMH battery cells. The wheel is connected to a Simucube-2 wheelbase via the included Simucube Quick Release.
