Strakka Racing Art Car Livery Design Competition

Sim racing is not just about the virtual driving experience. Many members of the sim racing community are hardcore motorsport addicts and are very creative when it comes to promoting both the real and virtual side of the hobby. While some members are 3D modelers, Web designers or custom application coders, many of us enjoy it to be creative with graphics.

Allot of sim racing community members seem to enjoy the art of livery design. Creating your own sim-racing car livery is one of the modding aspects within reach of most of us. While it is very satisfying to see your own custom livery in-game, there are ways to take this little side hobby one step further.

Together with SRO, the Strakka Racing team hosts an exciting competition giving fans the unique opportunity to design the livery of one of its cars taking part in the 2017 Total Spa 24 Hours race. Up until Thursday 6 July 2017, creative fans can design and submit their own custom livery for the Strakka Racing #58 McLaren 650S GT3 which will be driven by Rob Bell, Côme Ledogar and Ben Barnicoat.

On Monday 10 July 2017, the McLaren GT / Strakka Racing team will announce the winning design. The selected livery will be applied to the real-world #58 McLaren 650S GT3 and will be raced in the 2017 Total Spa 24 Hours. How cool is that!

But there is more. The winner of the livery competition will also be rewarded with a full Spa 24 VIP weekend hospitality package for two people.

The VIP package includes:

• Paddock Entry tickets
• VIP Grid Walk
• Hospitality from Friday afternoon
• Track tour shuttle
• VIP admission at Saturday evening Concert
• Circuit Hot Lap

Terms and Conditions

• The winning entry will be judged by McLaren GT and Strakka Racing
• No cash alternative to the prize will be offered
• The competition is open to all ages, but certain elements of the prize has age restrictions – the minimum age for the grid walk and hop lap activities is 16 years old
• Prize does not include transport or accommodation
