Via an official Tweet, iRacing has confirmed that the SRX (Superstar Racing Experience) will be coming to iRacing in 2024.
The license should not come as a surprise, as back in 2022, iRacing acquired Monster Games, Inc. to release SRX the official game of the Superstar Racing Experience league on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC Steam
The Superstar Racing Experience (SRX) is an American Short Track Racing Series that was first announced back in July 2020. The series was founded by some famous names from the world of NASCAR, Tony Stewart, Ray Evernham, Sandy Montag, and George Pyne.
The SRX season typically consists of six races, which are held on short tracks across the United States. The series is designed to showcase some of the biggest names in motorsports racing on short tracks across the United States.
SRX cars are all identical, meaning that the races are decided by driver skill and strategy rather than car setup. The series also features a number of unique rules, such as inversion starts and inverted heats, which are designed to keep the races exciting and unpredictable. The 2023 SRX season concluded on August 17, with Kyle Busch winning the championship.
