The New Turn Racing RS3 TCR Wheel

Zach Hodgson who is the owner of Turn Racing was an avid sim racer who started developing custom-built sim racing wheels for private use. What did start as a very modest hobby rapidly became a household name in the high-end sim racing Steering wheel market.

A few days ago, Turn Racing introduced its new Turn RS3 TCR Sim Racing Wheel. Let’s have a look.

The new custom-built RS3 TCR rim replicates the steering wheel controls of the Audi RS3 TCR Touring car. Instead of the original round wheel in the Audi, the turn RS3 TCR design uses the 305mm open-top Turn R20 rim as a basis and adds a functional hub that features eight pushbuttons, two 7-way “Funky” switches, and three rotary encoders. The wheel is also fitted with Carbon fiber shifter paddles which make use of Magnetic snap-action switches.

The Turn RS3 TCRis developed in partnership with Racing Sim Tools and uses an in-house proprietary controller, custom firmware, and custom software. The wheel is fully Plug & Play and connects to the PC via an included Coiled USB Cable.
