The Official Assetto Corsa Competizione Presentation At Sim Racing Expo
Last Wednesday, Italian developer Kunos Simulazioni released part-1 of their highly anticipated early access version of the new Assetto Corsa Competizione racing title which is the officially licensed Racing Simulator of the Blancpain GT Series by SRO.
It is safe to say that the launch was a huge success, as the new release instantly topped the Steam Network sales chart. After the launch, The Kunos Simulazioni marketing team headed out to the German Nürburgring for the final round of the Blancpain GT Series and the start of the 2018 edition of the annual Sim Racing Expo held in the Nürburgring 8,800 sqm Ring Boulevard Building from the 14th until the 16th September.
On the first day of the expo, Kunos Simulazioni’s Co-Owner and Production Manager Marco Massarutto and the CEO and founder of SRO, Stéphane Ratel officially presented the new Assetto Corsa Competizione racing simulator which features the official drivers, teams, cars, and circuits of the worlds premier GT3 championship.
To celebrate the launch, Kunos Simulazioni and SRO invited the Grasser Racing Team drivers Ezequiel Perez Companc, Andrea Caldarelli, Mirko Bortolotti, and Christian Engelhart for a competition driving the virtual version of their Lamborghini Huracan GT3. The sim race was commented by former Formula One driver and official Blancpain GT commentator John Watson.
The first Steam Early Access version of the Assetto Corsa Competizione racing title is now available via the Steam platform for 24,99€.
