The Simatok 4000 Simulator

Besides the sim racing equipment for the home user and enthusiasts, we also like to follow up on the happenings within the high-end and professional sim racing market.

These days, most professional racing outfits, sim centers, or driver training programs need a high-end simulator of some sort. While these outfits could build there own simulator, it has been proven that it is better to rely on the experience and development cycle of existing turnkey solutions. With the ever-growing popularity and demand for such systems, we see new high-end simulators pop up on a regular basis. Some of these products are in an early development stage, while others can rely on a long time history of research and development.

The Switzerland based Simatok simulator company by passionate motorsport fan and former rally driver Edouard Fatio has been designing racing simulators for home and professional use since 2010.

The Simatok 4000 Motion Simulator is built around a heavy-duty steel powder coated chassis and is equipped with four fast D-Box actuators resulting in a 3-axis motion system.

The Simatok 4000 chassis is fully adjustable and can be configured with a selection of optional high-end sim racing peripherals such as direct-drive steering wheels, hydraulic pedals, Sequential shifters, hydraulic handbrakes for circuit and rally simulation, and a selection of racing seats.

Customers can also opt to purchase the Simatok 4000 as a turnkey product including a powerful PC system, Sound system, and single, triple or 180-degree wrap-around screens.

As most of you will already know, professional racing simulators don’t come cheap. Pricing starts at €22295.00 – 26160.00 US$ – 19885.00 £ + shipping. ( Check out the Simatok website for included hardware and options)
