Thrustmaster Introduces Raceline Pedals LTE

During the ongoing Gamescom Trade Fair, Thrustmaster officially announced the Raceline Pedals LTE (Long-Term Evolution) as the follow-up of the popular entree-level T3PM and T-LCM pedals.

The LTE Pedal set is a two-pedal setup made of metal with a sandblasted finish. The pedal movement is read using magnetic H.E.A.R.T. sensors ensuring a durable solution for the wear and tear sim racing pedals have to endure.

The sturdy metal base plate can be mounted straight on a sim rig but is also fitted with Non-Slip pads to improve the grip of the base plate on hard or carpeted surfaces.

It’s the first pedal set from Thrustmaster to feature proper adjustability and upgradeability. The Raceline Pedals LTE pedal set is modular, meaning that the user can upgrade it while keeping the core components. The set can be upgraded from a two-pedal to a three-pedal setup, adding a load cell pedal, a wider metal plate, and metal pedal heads.

The pedals are fully adjustable, allowing you to change pedal spacing, raise the pedal heads, and adjust brake force using three notches behind each pedal. Furthermore, there is both a hard, and soft brake spring provided.

No official release date or price was confirmed, but Thrustmaster stated that the base LTE pedals will most likely go on sale this year, starting for a price under €100.00.

Next year, Thrustmaster will also update the range of pedals and accessories.

The Raceline Pedals III, (non-load cell) will as the name implies add a clutch pedal. The Raceline Pedals III Load Cell will feature a load cell brake, while also a Raceline Pedals Upgrade Kit with a bigger base plate will be available for those who want to upgrade their original set.

Last but not least, Thrustmaster also plans to bundle the Raceline LTE pedal range with a yet-to-be-revealed new direct drive wheel base, for the PC and PlayStation. At the moment there is no word about Xbox support.

I will keep you posted when more info becomes available.
