New Thrustmaster T300 Ferrari GTE revealed
Yesterday Thrustmaster announced its T300RS steering wheel for the PlayStation 3 and 4. Today another wheel set has been announced. The Thrustmaster T300 Ferrari GTE fo PC PS3 and PS4.
At first look, it seems that the T300 Ferrari GTE shares its base unit with the T300RS. It is fitted with the already released Ferrari 458 Challenge steering wheel rim. The Thrustmaster T300 Ferrari GTE set features a detachable 28 cm / 11 inches diameter wheel. It houses 6 action buttons, 1 D-pad, 1 manettino dial and 2 large sequential metal paddle shifters that are mounted on the rim.
The T300 Ferrari GTE’s base also features 2 extra action buttons, an internal memory, upgradable firmware thanks to the wheel’s PC compatibility and a PS4/PS3 sliding switch. Owners of a Ferrari F1 Wheel Add-on or T500 RS GT Wheel will be pleased to find out that the rims are fully compatible with the T300 Base unit. The T300RS uses the patented Thrustmaster Heart Hall Effect Accurate Technology. The 16 bit contactless magnetic sensor provides a 65,536 resolution. With the wheel comes with a throttle and brake pedal set. The pedals are made of metal. The pedals height and spacing are adjustable with a total of six different positions per pedal.
The T300 RS also features an internal memory, upgradable firmware so that users will always have access to the latest improvements via the wheel’s PC compatibility, and a PS4/PS3 sliding switch on its base for optimal compatibility with both systems.
