Toyota FT-1 Vision GT version teaser

After Mitsubishi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, Toyota, Chevrolet, Volkswagen and Red Bull Racing, and Aston Martin, now Toyota’s reveals its effort designing a Vision Gran Turismo car. At this time no details are known, but the official PlayStation channel posted a small teaser video showing us a glimpse of the car.

Designed by Toyota’s Calty studio in California, the car in the teaser appears to be a futuristic Super GT version of the original Toyota FT Concept car revealed in January of this year. The racing version of the FT-1 concept car shares the looks of its original design, but is dressed up with aerodynamic bodywork, decals, racing rims and a large Super GT rear spoiler.

Polyphony Digital’s “Vision Gran Turismo” is a project in which the world’s leading brands design an original sportscar in commemoration for the 15th anniversary of Gran Turismo, as present to players of “Gran Turismo 6”.
