Alan Boiston of Team VVV presents more coverage of the finals week at the McLarens World’s Fastest Gamer competition. In part-1 of a series, Alan sits down with Executive Director of the McLaren technology Group, Zak Brown to talk about the essence and future of the McLaren World’s Fastest Gamer competition.
Zak Brown is an American businessman and former professional racing driver, currently residing in London, England. Brown is currently the Executive Director of McLaren Technology Group, replacing Ron Dennis as CEO. Zak is also the owner of United Autosports. which is a well-known GT and sports car race team, based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, UK. Founded in 2009 by Zak Brown and racing driver, Richard Dean, United Autosports have raced in a number of different championships, with a vast range of cars and drivers.
World’s Fastest Gamer is a partnership between global sports and technology brand McLaren and the founder of virtual motorsport’s GT Academy, Darren Cox, in collaboration with founding partner Logitech G, a global leader in gaming gear and two further partners – sports media platform GIVEMESPORT and eSport racing innovator Sparco.
