16 exclusive challenges in Moments mode:*

  • Featuring iconic moments from WRC history, using content from the Hard Chargers Content Pack
WRC 24 Hard Chargers DLC

At Rally Sweden you’ll discover the nervewracking new roads of Umeå, the current home of WRC’s coldest rally. You’ll need to thread the needle between potentially stage-ending snow banks in flat-out sections set against the backdrop of a beautiful Scandinavian winter, all before finishing at the now iconic Red Barn Arena.

Acropolis Rally Greece takes you to the other extreme, with the hot and rocky roads presenting one of the toughest challenges on the WRC calendar. Explore your technical driving skills through the mountain passes of Harvati and look out for rocks and drops that can end your rally in an instant. You’ll need to be brave and precise on stages where each turn is critical to set up the next.

Both stages can be driven in forward or reverse directions, along with shorter versions for additional variety. As with other EA SPORTS WRC 24 stages, you’ll take them on across multiple weather and time-of-day scenarios, and the Greek stages can be driven in multiple seasons.

Furthermore, the pack introduces 6 new cars to the game, along with a new car class.

The star of the show is the Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC ‘21 in the “World Rally Car 2017-2021” class. One of the fastest WRC cars of all time, it scored 3 wins and 17 podiums throughout the 2021 season.

Next up is the Ford Focus WRC ‘99, a classic from the days of Colin McRae Rally 2.0. The successor to the legendary Ford Escort line of cars, the Focus showed potential from the very beginning and laid the foundations for future title challenges.

Speaking of the Escort, the Ford Escort RS 1600 MK1 takes us back to the very beginning, having competed in the very first WRC season in 1973.

Rounding out the pack, we have more modern-day machinery, this time in the Rally3 and Rally4 classes. The Opel Corsa Rally4 and Renault Clio Rally4 are entry-level Front-Wheel Drive cars, while the Renault Clio Rally3 is a step up to All-Wheel Drive power.

The Rally3 class is new to the game, and the Clio will be joined in that class by the Ford Fiesta Rally3 from the base game. We’ve added a new free livery to the Fiesta as well (Jon Armstrong, 2022), and the original base game vehicle will remain in the Junior WRC class.

WRC 24 Hard Chargers DLC

Hard Chargers features 18 real-world liveries for both new and existing cars, along with 16 new Moments to complete.

Moments are themed challenges, often paying tribute to specific events in WRC history. Here are some of the great drives you’ll be challenged to replicate with the new Hard Chargers content:

  • Kenya (1999) – Colin McRae’s high-risk move from SUBARU to Ford pays off with a maiden win in the Ford Focus WRC ‘99.
  • Iberia (2021) – Thierry Neuville scores a vital win on the winding Iberian roads to keep Hyundai’s title dreams alive.
  • Sweden (2022) – Jon Armstrong makes a triumphant return to Rally Sweden, setting the season-opening pace in Junior WRC.
